Before about some 10 years ago, people were friendly with me and use to interestingly use to ask and give favorable comments about my traditional attire even with my head cover. Now I often face very irritable behavior from grocery stores cashier. At a bank ATM I was using first time new system of depositing of checks and I have quiet few checks to deposit so person behind me suspects me of unusual behavior and next thing I see, bank security came and start observing rest of my transaction at a Bank of Ameirca location. As the news of catching zazi is hot on cnn more paranoia gets among american public. same month on night of Eid one of the neighbor had caused so much trouble for us by suspecting my son old engine car with a replica of expensive car, and rate of police came to tow the car and hand cuff the suspects until I have brought the paper work of the car to prove it's not stolen... so long story short... Yes I think its all working what 9/11 was meant to do. Hopefully it will not take centuries of torture and abused in modern times to figure out whats best for the human race. To me personally, it matters little as to the reality on 9/11; what matters more is that the dominant segment of american society believes it happened and blames Muslims for it. I think the Muslims who full in your second bucket are probably the majority, however many of those don't take an active part in the masjid and community related activities, and their voice is unheard. If one day the some government is able to actually arrest some of the criminals, and try them without torturing them to get evidence. . . .and publish the proceedings of such a trial. . . .perhaps all Muslims will come to terms with what was done. Not to compare the crimes, but Nuremberg helped the German people realize what was done in their name .. . .perhaps such an effort would help our community as well. p.s.
